Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are an interesting investment option for crypto investors. These assets provide a way for investors to make returns at a low entry price point, as their values have also dropped significantly amid the market downturn.
After the success of ApeCoin, the asset linked to the Bored Ape Yacht Coin (BAYC) NFT collection, a lot of investors have been looking for the next ApeCoin to invest in. This article reviews several NFT tokens that present opportunities for profitability.
1. Lucky Block (LBLOCK)
Our top pick for the next ApeCoin to invest in is LBLOCK. The digital asset is the native token for Lucky Block – a blockchain gaming platform that has been gaining a lot of attention from investors.
Lucky Block uses LBLOCK as a gateway into its ecosystem of games. Players can buy Lucky Block and enjoy easy access to the platform while trading the digital asset.
We selected LBLOCK as our top pick because of Lucky Block’s NFTs. The Platinum Rollers Club NFT collection was launched in February as part of a marketing push. The Platinum Rollers Club NFT collection features 10,000 pieces and each one mint for $1,500. Investors can also enjoy 10% royalties on each NFT sale.
While the NFTs are currently built on the Binance Smart Chain, Lucky Block’s developers are also working on cross-chain functionality.
2. Axie Infinity (AXS)
Next on our list of the next apecoin to invest in is AXS, Axie Infinity’s token. Axie Infinity is one of the most popular blockchain games in the market.
Its gameplay revolves around Axies – digital pets that users breed and use to battle against other players’ Axies. When they win a battle, they receive the Axie that they beat and are rewarded with AXS tokens.
AXS has been on an impressive price surge thanks to updates from Sky Mavis – Axie’s developers. They announced a plan to relaunch the Ronin bridge, which was hacked earlier this year to the tune of $600 million.

Sky Mavis also laid out a plan to reimburse hack victims, indicating that the company is getting back on its feet.
3. Enjin (ENJ)
Next on our list of the next apecoin to invest in is ENJ. The crypto asset is linked to Enjin – a platform that allows users and companies to easily mint and use their NFTs. Built on Ethereum, Enjin allows prospective NFT developers to enjoy the blockchain’s functionalities.
Enjin is already looking attractive to many investors. The platform launched its Polkadot parachain in March, expanding from its home base of Ethereum. The parachain – known as Efinity – will house over 100 blockchain-based games. With Enjin’s developers also eyeing the metaverse, there are several reasons to buy Enjin now.
4. Immutable X (IMX)
Immutable X, the self-styled NFT layer-two scaling solution for Ethereum, is a platform that allows NFT enthusiasts to seamlessly trade their assets on Ethereum. The platform boasts a transaction throughput of about 90,000 transactions per second, no gas fees, and instant finalisation.
Last week, Immutable X earmarked a massive $500 million fund to boost developer adoption of its platform. The fund will offer grants to projects building on Immutable X, using IMX tokens and fiat. We believe that this will help bolster the adoption of the platform, thus improving the prospects for IMX.
5. Binance Coin (BNB)
BNB is already one of the most popular and most recognisable assets in the market. The exchange token for the Binance ecosystem ties all of the platform’s functionality together, and its relationship with Binance has also made it feature on our next apecoin to invest in list.
Binance has been pushing into the NFT space, having launched an official NFT marketplace. Last week, the company partnered with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo on a multi-year NFT and Web3 initiative. Both parties are expected to create several NFT collections, all of which will be available exclusively on the Binance NFT marketplace.
6. Decentraland (MANA)
Decentraland is a popular blockchain gaming platform that has also seamlessly integrated NFTs. The platform hosts players who buy and explore virtual land in its universe. When users buy a piece of land on Decentraland, they get LAND – NFTs that show their ownership of the asset.
The platform’s native MANA token is used to buy LAND. MANA has undoubtedly become popular in the market, thanks to Decentraland’s partnership with several top brands. This month, Yahoo announced several virtual events in Decentraland, creating a rally for MANA. As time goes on, we believe that this spate of partnerships will bolster MANA even more.
7. The Sandbox (SAND)
The Sandbox operates like Decentraland. However, while Decentraland focuses on gaming, The Sandbox is more centred on creating unique experiences. As a virtual world, The Sandbox allows every participant to create an avatar and enjoy several immersive virtual experiences.
Like many of its counterparts, The Sandbox has also grown thanks to multiple partnerships. Last week, TIME Magazine partnered with The Sandbox to build a variant of Time Square in the metaverse.
8. Ripple (XRP)
To be fair, XRP isn’t a pure NFT coin. The crypto asset was launched as a way of making cross-border transfers easier and more effective. However, Ripple Labs – its developers – have moved strongly into the NFT space.
This month, Ripple announced a partnership with FLUF World – a popular NFT collection. Both companies are looking to build the Root Network – a decentralised blockchain that will open users to the “open metaverse”.

While the details on this project are sparse, we believe this could be a harbinger for more NFT projects from Ripple.
9. Solana (SOL)
Solana, one of the most prominent “Ethereum killers”, has managed to attract developers and investors with its high transaction throughput and improved performance.
As a major blockchain, Solana is an attractive home for NFT minters and enthusiasts. Last week, Solana Labs unveiled the Solana Mobile Stack (SMS) software ecosystem for Android. Amongst other things, the SMS will allow developers to build Android apps on the Solana blockchain and mint NFTs from anywhere.
Access to the SMS will be easier thanks to Solana Saga – an upcoming Android smartphone from Solana Labs. With NFTs and Web3 becoming much more accessible, SOL is looking good as the next apecoin to invest in.
10. Tezos (XTZ)
Finally, Tezos’ XTZ token rounds out our next apecoin to invest in list. Tezos is one of the industry’s oldest blockchains, and its developers have also been making the shift to NFTs.
Currently, there’s a lot of excitement about Jakarta – an upgrade to the Tezos blockchain that is expected to boost its performance and processes. Jakarta has already been greenlit by several exchanges, including Binance and Gate.io.
