The Sandbox, a popular metaverse gaming platform, has collaborated with the French automaker Renault Korea Motors South Korean subsidiary to avail virtual automotive experiences for metaverse users. The Sandbox confirmed the collaboration in its Monday blog post. The partnership will enable users to experience vehicles in the virtual space.

The Sandbox wants to offer tremendous marketing support for Renault Korea Motors in the space. Additionally, Renault Korea Motors will bank on its collaboration with The Sandbox to sustain its long-term relationship with its customers. This will be done through its engagement in the virtual environment.

Cindy Lee, CEO at The Sandbox Korea, reacted to the partnership. According to the CEO, “this partnership is an excellent example of a collaboration; The Sandbox can develop without industrial boundaries.”  Lee further said that with the partnership, The Sandbox is “able to introduce new types of experiences that combine automobiles and digital assets.”

The Sandbox is engaging in numerous partnerships and investments to enhance Metaverse adoption 

Recently, The Sandbox engaged in a series of investment partnerships to facilitate the adoption of the metaverse. In July, the gaming firm partnered with the biggest amusement park in South Korea, LOTTE WORLD. 

The Sandbox banked on the partnership to harness the content IP licenses of LOTTE WORLD in the initiation of worldwide NFT games. Also, The Sandbox invested US$1.7 million in Index Game, a metaverse agency. It hired the agency to develop experiences for its decentralized metaverse; Becky Wong and Joe Lau led the development of the Index game. The sandbox intends to increase its investment in the agency to US$6 million by 2023.

According to the gaming firm, its collaboration with LOTTE WORLD possesses the tendency to provide numerous experiences capable of widening the adoption of the space. With the entry of LOTTE into the metaverse space, users are assured of real-world and virtual world experiences. Experiences fostered by the partnership include personal invitations for the metaverse users.

The Sandbox will avail Index game with an exclusive arrangement for IPs. Index Game plans to advance its NFTs, GameFi, and Web3.0 projects. According to the platform, this tends to widen the possibilities of the interconnected digital realm.

In June, it also announced its partnership with Tsubasa and Minto Inc to take Captain Tsubasa to the metaverse. As reported, the partnership manifested to promote various Captain Tsubasa collaborations and projects devised on The Sandbox.
