Revolut has launched a new feature that will allow users to earn cryptocurrency rewards while learning more about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. The global financial application will join the list of companies moving towards cryptocurrency education via the “Learn and Earn” program.
Revolut launches crypto Learn and Earn feature
Revolut’s concept for this new initiative is to give users rewards in cryptocurrencies to learn about the main topics in the blockchain sector. The new feature will be available to all the users and open them up to rewards of up to $15 to complete the courses and pass the final quiz.
Revolut currently has a valuation of $33 billion. The company will be working with the Web3 Foundation for this feature. The feature will be supported by Polkadot’s DOT token, where users will receive rewards in the form of DOT.

Revolut said that this program would start with two short courses. The first course will look at the basic features of cryptocurrencies and the underlying blockchain technology. Revolut’s educational feature will also educate users about the differences between cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies and the risks of participating in the cryptocurrency sector.
The application will also focus on the Polkadot ecosystem. Revolut will look at how Polkadot will bring blockchain networks together and integrate them into Web3. The application will also look into the DOT tokens, the use cases of the Polkadot blockchain, and the main features of the network like Relay Chain and governance.
Revolut is a banking platform based in the UK, and it will continue to go beyond the Learn and Earn program. It is also planning to add more courses to support cryptocurrency education and allow people to achieve financial literacy.
In the press release, Revolut said its users had expressed interest in learning about cryptocurrencies. The Learn & Earn program will allow these customers to understand the risks and opportunities in the sector. The Crypto General Manager at Revolut, Emil Urmashin, said that working with Polkadot would give customers more knowledge of crypto.
Revolut’s crypto journey
This is not the first time that Revolut has been working on a crypto-based initiative. The company’s journey toward the cryptocurrency space commenced in 2017 after listing Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin, allowing its users to access these top cryptocurrencies.
In 2018, Revolut added more support for XRP and Bitcoin Cash. In 2021, it also expanded the portfolio with another 11 cryptocurrencies and now has over 20 listed tokens.
