The chairman of the Dubai Executive Council and the prince of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s recently launched metaverse project has incentivized QUINT to make a massive donation of $16 million for bone marrow transplant research.

QUINT is a flagship DeFi venture that works on the Binance Smart Chain and innovated the notion of super-staking swimming pools that allow users to earn profits from rewards and funding alternatives.

The intent behind this one-a-kind donation is to aid and reinforce Hamadan Bin Rashid Care Cancer Charity Hospital.

The funds will be available to the Al Jalila Foundation with a specially designed locking and vesting mechanism to build the hospital’s bone marrow transplant center over the course of 3 years to help needy cancer patients.

The Al Jalila Foundation is Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s initiative that aims to aid people’s lives through medical innovations.

This is the first time they have received donations via cryptocurrency and stated that they would most likely name the facility “QUINT Bone Marrow Transplant Center” once it’s ready to launch.

Bone marrow, also known as stem cell transplant, is the process of infusing healthy stem cells in place of the broken or diseased bone marrow. Healthy bone marrow is required for the proper functioning of the human body and hence, the donation can influence a lot of lives.

The CEO of Al Jalila Foundation, Dr. Abdul Kareema Al Olama, even mentioned that as a philanthropic organization, they rely heavily on donations and endeavor to look for better ways to expand their donation channels.

He further added that this donation from QUINT would help them save many cancer patients who do not have enough funds for their medication.

Moreover, the chairman of QUINT, Mr. Mohammed Al Bulooki, stated that QUINT’s founders, members, and partners support the Al Jalila Foundation and their aim to have a huge impact on the lives of people.

He also said as QUINT focuses on intertwining the metaverse with the real-world and endeavoring to prompt the mainstream adoption of DeFi and cryptocurrencies, they are delighted to be among the first organizations to embrace crypto philanthropy in the UAE.
