Permission.io, a tokenized Web3 advertising platform, has partnered with a provider of domain name extensions, Unstoppable Domains. The web3 advertising outfit confirmed the development in its Monday blog post. As revealed, the collaboration will see Unstoppable Domains avail each consistent user of Permission with a $40 credit. The user can then use the issued credit to acquire a multi-functional domain.

The multi-functional domain runs as a digital ID and name to transmit and obtain crypto funds. Certainly, this will be another alternative for users who don’t use standard wallet addresses.

The CEO of Permission.io, Thomas Shin, reacted to the partnership. According to Shin, the web3-based platform is excited to share the news of its collaboration with Unstoppable Domain. The CEO believes Permission.io and Unstoppable Domains share a similar Web3 ethos of consumer data agency and ownership. He added that the collaboration tends to enhance the user base of the web3 firm. Shin hinted that such development would further aid their accessibility and ease of use to various activities as the Web3 economy continues to wax stronger.

Sandy Carter, SVP of Business Development at Unstoppable Domains, also reacted to the development. Carter said Unstoppable Domains paves the way for subscribers to make an imprint on the Web3 space. He added that it avails numerous benefits enveloped in a digital ID and wallet for sending and receiving NFT and crypto assets. Furthermore, Carter reflected on the flexible nomenclature of the project, saying it helps subscribers to personalize their domains. According to him, this helps to better users’ experience in the sphere.

Carter hinted that the emergence of Unstoppable Domains helps to enable a “user-owned, digital identity for every person on the planet.” He is optimistic that the collaboration with Permission io will help strengthen users with the resources to own their data on Web3.

However, Permission.io admonishes its users to look forward to a mail on their respective email accounts. According to the web3 outfit, the mail will be accompanied by a unique code. It says they are expected to harness the code to claim their free domain on the website of Unstoppable Domains.

This partnership is coming a few weeks after Unstoppable Domains completed a $65 million series A funding round. Reportedly, investors like Pantera Capital, CoinDCX, Polygon, Draper Associates, and Boost VC participated in the financing round. Notably, completing the round enhances the firm’s value to $1 billion.

Shortly after the completion of the round, its CEO, Matt Gould, condemned how companies had previously controlled people’s identities. Gould vowed that Unstoppable Domains would put return people’s digital identities to them. According to him, the time has come for people to have their internet identity.
