MoonPlay Partners With Unstoppable Domain To Enable Web3 Payments

Unstoppable Domains has announced a partnership with crypto payment firm MoonPlay to add non-fungible token (NFT) domains to its platform. This means that the collaboration will enable MoonPlay users to easily transact in digital assets using their domains. It will eliminate the need to enter their wallet addresses, which is usually tiring and complicated.

The Partnership Will Make Web3 More Intuitive

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MoonPlay, Soto-Write, while commenting on the partnership, noted that it will open the door for the adoption of Web3 technology.

He added that MoonPlay is an expert in front-end technology while Unstoppable Domain will be taking care of the tail-end for more convenience and improved usability. This takes away the usually complex characters and replaces them with customizable NFT domains.

An executive at Unstoppable Domains, Sandy Carter, stated that the collaboration will make Web3 more intuitive. It will create the opportunity for both beginners and experienced crypto users to gain from the simplified experience of the partnership.

While the main purpose is to facilitate payment transactions with Web3, it can also provide a channel to log into exchanges, wallets, and decentralized applications (dApps).

 NFT Domain Sees Increased Demand

The demand for the NFT domain has seen a surge in recent times. Last month, the Ethereum Name Service saw registrations increase by 200%. This was driven by the increased hype following the sale of “000.eth” for 300 ETH, the second-largest sale of a .eth domain. At the time of the sale, the price dollar price of the purchased amount was $300,000.

Following the criticism of the proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus, Ethereum Co-founder Vitalik Buterin responded by providing a clear explanation f the platform’s plan. According to the co-founder, most of the arguments from critics are based on unmitigated lies, and the upcoming Merge of the smart contract platform will prove to be beneficial.
