Index Game receives $1.7 million investment

Sandbox has announced an Investment agreement with Metaverse agency, Index Game. The Ethereum-based metaverse game was announced on Monday through its official Twitter page. As indicated, the deal will see The Sandbox entrust about $1.7 million investment into the metaverse agency. 

With the investment, the Index game will seek to maintain its giant stride on Metaverse. Renowned for its prominent presence in the Metaverse space, Index game will take a step forward with this investment. With the funds, Index will strengthen its NFTs, GameFi, and Web 3.0 initiatives and develop a P2E project. Index game sees this as a privilege to enhance the innovative advancement of connecting the virtual world. 

Meanwhile, Index Game emerged as a metaverse agency after its appointment by The Sandbox. The firm made Index Game one of the platform’s agencies to incorporate more user experience. Currently, the platform is under the administration of the innovative hands of Becky Wong and Joe Lau. Also, the investment marked the beginning of a new dawn for Virtual Reality (VR) firms in Hong Kong. 

However, additional details about the investment agreement revealed that the investment would increase to $6 million by next year. With the partnership, The Sandbox will offer Index game a special offer for IPs instigated during the partnership. Since its establishment last year, Index Game has collaborated with over 17 prominent organizations and IPs. These collaborations are championed by the course of initiating good projects on The Sandbox. Part of these organizations Index Game has partnered with includes Adrian Cheng, Hang Seng Bank, Fine Art Asia, Ocean Park, and Sun Hung Kai & Co, among others.

Since its establishment, the agency has developed four projects on the Sandbox. These projects include  South China Morning Post’s inaugural metaverse experience of Hong Kong Star Ferry Pier, Kowloon Walled City: The City of Darkness on the 1970s in Hong Kong, Hanjin Music Palooza: The Monstruous Multicolor Guitar, with Chinese musician Hanjin Tan featuring on it. 

The Sandbox, on its part, has signed numerous collaborations and investment initiatives to enhance the advancement of its Metaverse project. Lately, the platform has made major headlines in South Korea after partnering with a leading amusement park in the country, LOTTE WORLD. The platform will leverage its partnership with the amusement park to provide advanced user experiences.
