Base Meme Coins Go Ballistic With 17% Surge As FLOWER, POV And BERF Lead The Charge

Base meme coins surged 17% over the past 24 hours to reach a market capitalization of more than $2.1 billion with Farcaster Flower (FLOWER), BERF, and Degen POV (POV) leading gains.

FLOWER emerged as the top-performer in the Base meme coin ecosystem with its 327% surge. This meteoric rise pushed its price to $0.0002422 as of 3:35 a.m. EST.

BERF, POV, POLA And WEIRDO Register Substantial Gains

BERF posted the second biggest 24-hour gain in the Base meme coin market. This is after its price went ballistic and soared over 199% to trade at $0.01026. In third place with its 89% surge is POV.

Pola (POLA) and Weirdo (WEIRDO) were also able to make it into the top 5 performers list. POLA pumped more than 43% in the last 24 hours, while WEIRDO saw its price jump over 34% during the same period.

Investors seem to have started to realize some of their profits from the sudden uptick in Base meme coin prices. FLOWER, BERF, POV and POLA all dipped in the last hour. WEIRDO was the only exception, with its price continuing its bullish move on the shorter time frame.

Leading Base Meme Coins Hold Onto Their Dominance

The largest Base meme coin by market cap, Brett (BRETT), was able to print a 24-hour gain greater than 1%. This brought its price up to $0.1564, and also pushed the crypto’s weekly performance deeper into the green zone at more than 5%.

Degen (DEGEN) pumped over 4%, while Basenji (BENJI) saw its price jump more than 7% during the past 24 hours, making it the top gainer among bigger Base meme coins by market cap.

Toshi (TOSHI) and ChompCoin (CHOMP) were the only top 5 Base meme coins to suffer losses.

Base meme coins are gaining momentum this year and that’s also spilling over into the presale market, where there is an increasing flow of projects choosing the network for launches.

Among the hottest ICO projects right now is Base Dawgz (DAWGZ), which has raised more than $1.8 million after it raced to $1.6 million in less than two weeks.
