Pudgy Penguins, the non-fungible token brand and the team behind the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection continues spreading its market roots for its NFT-inspired toys in different retail stores across the world. This time around, the digital asset firm has introduced its toy collection in Hot Topic retail stores.

Pudgy Penguins Introduces NFT Toys In Hot Topic Stores

In a November 23 blog post, Pudgy Penguins has confirmed introducing its non-fungible token-inspired toys in select Hot Topic stores. Hot Topic Stores is an American retail chain specializing in counterculture-related clothing, toys, and accessories, as well as licensed music. The stores are aimed at an audience interested in toys, and video gaming, with most of its audience ranging from teens to young adults.

Pudgy clip-on plushies are now available in select Hot Topic stores nationwide.

Founded in 2021, Pudgy Penguins is a digital asset firm founded by digital artist and crypto investor Cole Thereum and his team. The digital asset firm is renowned in the crypto market for its popular Pudgy Penguins, an NFT collection featuring a limited edition of 8,888 Ethereum-based NFTs.

The digital asset firm, which is now under the good leadership of Luca Netz, focuses on making Web3 accessible to everyone by creating innovative products that enable seamless onboarding. Earlier this year, the Pudgy Penguins team started selling its physical NFT-inspired toys through the e-commerce marketplace, Amazon.

At the time, the NFT brand successfully amassed more than $500,000 in purchases over the first two days, surpassing 20,000 individual toys sold. Since then, the Pudgy Penguin team has continued to spread its market roots across various retail market stores across the world.

Pudgy Penguins NFT Toys Go Mainstream

In September, the Pudgy Penguins NFT creator debuted its NFT-inspired toys in 2,000 Walmart stores in the United States. Pudgy Toys plushies and collectibles are now sold alongside other legacy consumer brands in the retail market stores.

Earlier last month, Pudgy Penguins spread further its NFT-powered toys in all Smyths Toys Stores across the United Kingdom. Smyths is one of the largest toy stores in the United Kingdom. The NFT brand further expanded its NFT toys across Canada earlier this month in partnership with Toys’R’Us toys stores. Pudgy Penguins Toys are now available in the UK, Asia, USA, and Canada.
