OnePlanet, an evolving NFT marketplace, has completed its migration to Polygon. The NFT marketplace announced the development in a Twitter post on Wednesday. The completion of the migration means its users can trade their OnePlanet NFTs on the Polygon network.

According to OnePlanet, its migration to the blockchain network manifested owing to the sustainable partnership it enjoys with Polygon. The NFT marketplace revealed its plan to avail tools necessary for migrating NFTs to Polygon. OnePlanet hopes to emerge as a marketplace for NFT utilities and to ensure they are clearly defined and understood.

OnePlanet, however, heaped praises on members of its community for promoting the project. It also acknowledges the support from Polygon and Polygon Studios for the success of the migration. According to OnePlanet, it looks forward to more collaborations and support from the blockchain solutions provider.

OnePlanet believes its collaboration with Polygon will enhance the entire NFT ecosystem. OnePlanet announced its partnership with Polygon Studios a few months ago. According to the NFT marketplace, the partnership will “provide foundation-level support to ensure we can continue to build towards our roadmap.” This development placed OnePlanet as the first “Polygon-native launchpad and marketplace that will create a natural center of the Polygon NFT universe.”

The company’s collaboration was to secure immediate support for Terra and Polygon NFT projects and communities. Occasioned by its partnership with Polygon, the NFT marketplace intends to secure financial support for its projects and community.

Furthermore, OnePlanet intends to accelerate efforts toward ensuring the soft landings of Terra NFT projects. It announces that “current holders of Terra NFT projects will be able to migrate and then list their NFTs on the new OnePlanet marketplace in the Polygon blockchain.” The protocol added that it would sustain the flawless migration of its network.

OnePlanet raises $3.35 million in latest funding round

The protocol, in recent times, also raised over $3.35 million in its latest seed funding. Hashed led the round; OnePlanet said it intends to use the funds to enhance its technological capacities. Also, the NFT marketplace initiated an NFT contest. Out of 78 projects which applied, just 12 met the required standards and were unveiled on the network.

Pryce Cho, CEO of OnePlanet, said the NFT marketplace plans to devise an Instagram-oriented SNS to enhance the NFT ecosystem. According to the CEO, the development will bolster the governance system of the protocol.
