The DeFi Conference of 2020, an event hosted by Bitcoin Events, will occur tomorrow, August 5, and will “showcase the tremendous growth and rise of DeFi projects over the last year,” a press release from the group notes.

As of now, there are nearly 100 projects looking to solve the world’s problems with DeFi, according to DeFiPrime – a tracking website on the subject. As of now, there is over $4 billion locked in DeFi, which has marked a 227% year-on-year increase for Ethereum as well.

DeFi has made great strides over the past few years, with platforms for lending, borrowing loans, savings, and more all coming together as time has passed. Some companies are taking the time to present at this conference, which includes, according to the release:

RadixDLT, Bidao, Wanchain, Aave, MakerDAO, ConsenSys, Chainlink, Incognito Chain, Stasis, StakerDAO, Argent, Zerion, ZCoin, Binance and Celsius Network.

On top of this, top founders and CEOs in the space, like Jack Lu, Artur Schaback, Anna Wood, and Jonas Lamis will present at the event, speaking about their DeFi companies and how they’re bringing value to the space.

Bitcoin Events has brought many conferences to the cryptocurrency space as well, have hosted over 2000 attendees from 35 countries around the world, the release notes.
