CurioInvest stands as a blockchain-based platform that specializes in tokenized rare car collectible investments, a niche but profitable little service. On the 24th of June, 2020, CurioInvest announced that it had made a partnership with Chainlink.
Increasing The Platform’s Decentralization
This partnership was established in order to bring out more trust and transparency when it comes to their tokenized car collection’s valuation. Further boons that CurioInvest will get from this partnership is an overall increase in the platform’s decentralization.
Additional benefits could come in the future, with the potential creation of a new, distributed collateral pool of tokenized collector vehicles. This, in turn, could help with the collateralization of various decentralized finance (DeFi) stablecoins, or even have it serve as insurance premium collateral.
Streamlined Valuation Now Possible
With this new partnership put into effect, a long-standing issue that CurioInvest had, will now be solved. The problem itself was in regards to assigning fair, true value to the various classic and collector cars that came its platform’s way. Before this new partnership, the only accurate method for these assets to have their value determined is by manual determination, doing so through comparing values listed in auctions and listings.
The end result for this complication comes into fruition by way of a very significant barrier of entry. Interested parties were mandated to pay the high fees needed to hire third-party evaluators to identify the car’s originality and then determine the price thereafter.
A Very Pleased Co-Founder
The co-founder of CurioInvest, Fernando Cerboonen, gave a comment about the matter at large, as well. He explained that Chainlink would provide the critical infrastructure that CurioInvest needs to build its ecosystem correctly. With this, the rare collectible vehicles will become as liquid an asset as they can be, under CurioInvest’s care.
With Chainlink, Fernando states that a missing piece of the puzzle that he had been seeking with CurioInvest has been provided, and it will allow the platform to create a valuation analytics system with ease. With this, all the rare vehicles CurioInvest, as well as other collectibles, can be streamlined into the platform.
This new partnership with Chainlink will see to it that CurioInvest will be capable of creating high quality, reliable price feeds when it comes to rare collectible cars. Through leveraging the decentralized data oracles of Chainlink, CurioInvest will be capable of using multiple aggregate data feeds to evaluate their collectibles. Thorough doing so, standardized transparency could be achieved when it comes to the vehicles that the network has available to it.
