Back in April of 2020, the BlockDown 3D virtual conference made a debut of high success. This virtual conference gathered participants from across the globe who had shown interest in interacting with prominent speakers and companies in the blockchain industry.

Meeting The Public Demands

As the world’s lockdown, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, carries on, the demand for quality thought discussions and presentations from the leaders in the blockchain industry have risen.

As one would expect, a group has finally taken notice and has taken steps to cater to this ever-rising demand. BlockDown has recently announced that it will be hosting yet another virtual event, this time in June. The event plans on bringing another “A-list” host of industry experts, and offers its first 1,000 registrants free tickets, as well.

A Good History To Go By

As it stands now, the event has been scheduled to happen between the 18th and 19th of June, 2020. The goal with the event is to offer participants with access all the perks involved with a traditional conference but doing so via a virtual setting

This virtual conference will see its participants navigate a virtual conference setting using custom-made avatars. From there, they can view keynote speeches, attend speaker panels, socialize with other participants, and interact with the various company booths.

The previous event had a very positive reception, with more than a thousand attendees, as well as more than 50 speakers. As such, it became the most-attended virtual crypto conference ever recorded, though it’s unlikely that there are many like it, either.

Big Plans For Summer Event

The summer version of this event will be completely free of charge as well, but only for the first thousand registrants. This shows that the virtual conference has broad ambitions, and offers business and VIP tickets as well. These upper-tier tickets allow for enhanced networking opportunities, as well.

The April BlockDown event had attracted many key figures in the crypto industry. Names like Erik Vorhees, the founder of Shapeshift, stood alongside people like the Grammy Award-winning artist Akon. Roger Ver partook as well, with many others of the same caliber.

Erhan Korhaliller stands as the founder of BlockDown and stated the summer version of this event is expected to draw in top speakers as well. It should be noted, however, that Korhaliller refrained from naming specific names. He further stated that unique content items would be added as well, such as BlockDown’s “mastermind” sessions. There, Korhaliller says that the “world’s finest minds” will discuss specific topics together in a bid to solve the blockchain industry’s biggest challenges.
