Renowned crypto exchange Bitget has renewed its collaboration with Italian Serie A giant Juventus. This development means the exchange will remain the sleeve official partner for the football club in its 2022/2023 season. The partnership started last September.

Bitget believes that Juventus’s impressive reputation and vast popularity will continue to help Bitget reach wider audiences and share its vision with the rest of the world.

Gracy Chen, managing director of Bitget, reacted to the deal renewal. According to Chen, Bitget is delighted to sustain its place as the official sleeve partner for Juventus for the second consecutive year. The director further states that Bitget has continued to enjoy its pleasant and rewarding journey to partner with Juventus. This, according to him, has made Bitget better in its engagement in the sports industry.

The Chief Revenue Officer of Juventus, Giorgio Ricci, also reacted to the development. Ricci said Juventus had enjoyed its collaboration with Bitget. According to him, the collaboration between Bitget and Juventus has undoubtedly paved the way for them to expand their fan base and customers’ global reach.

As a football club, the officer added that Juventus is “thrilled to extend our partnership with this innovative partner, who will accompany us match by match throughout the season.” Ricci said Juventus looks forward to cooperating with Bitget to make the new deal more successful than the previous one.

Despite the prevailing market conditions, Bitget has continued to witness recurring cash flow. In July, the exchange announced the plan to expand its workforce to 1,000, which was a surprise because other crypto exchanges, like Coinbase, were laying off some of their employees to cut costs. According to Bitget, it intends to extend its product offerings through partnerships with major global actors.

Speaking on the growth of Bitget, Chen said that the company is enjoying speedy growth as it has established a presence in over 50 nations worldwide. Chen revealed that the exchange’s trading volume grew ten times compared to 2021. Additionally, he said its derivatives trading volume spiked to a new feat in 2022 when it rose to $8.69 million.

On the other hand, Juventus has continued to cement its entry into the crypto space. According to reports, the Italian giant was the first football team in the world to become tokenized. Juventus fans who are holders of the tokens are eligible to contribute to numerous policies taken at the level of the club. As of the time of filing this report,  the token trades at $6.14. It has a circulating supply of $1,315,932.00 and a market capitalization of $8,107,975.
