BitFlyer, one of the leading crypto exchanges in the world, has announced that new cryptocurrencies will be added to its European and American subsidiaries.

The exchange service provider is working on improving its offerings for traders, and these new cryptos will help the platform to achieve that.

Through a press release, BitFlyer announced that BitFlyer Europe has added Ethereum Classic (ETC), Lisk (LSK), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Monacoin (MONA) to the options traders have to buy and sell on the platform.

On the US platform, BitFlyer has added ETC, BCH, and LTC. The addition of these cryptocurrencies gives traders on BitFlyer a more extensive range of options, and this will allow the exchange to attract more crypto traders.

Andy Bryant, co-head and COO of BitFlyer Europe, said that the exchange is listing the additional cryptocurrencies to extend the offerings available to the European and American markets.

Bryant added that by adding some of the most significant and exciting altcoins in the world on their exchange, they are expanding BitFlyer’s buy/sell offer significantly. The exchange’s clients will have access to these altcoins, an option they didn’t have before.

The expansion of offerings on BitFlyer’s international platforms is part of the firm’s bid to standardize across all markets.

Bryant said that these altcoins have previously been available only to Japanese traders, but the exchange firm is consolidating its offer across markets.

They are building a global platform for crypto traders all around the world. LSK and MONA have not been availed to US traders, but it can be expected that they will be in the future.

BitFlyer becoming one of the leading exchanges in the world

BitFlyer is one of the oldest crypto exchanges in the world. The Japanese based exchange was recently named among the ’Real-10’ exchanges by Bitwise in a report to the Securities and Exchange Commission of the US.

In this report, Bitwise said that only ten of the top exchanges in the world display legitimate trade volumes. This is about 5% of cryptocurrency exchanges in the world.

Institutional investors are looking to enter the crypto market through participation on legitimate exchanges such as BitFlyer.

The expansion of the options on its worldwide platform will open up the exchange to more traders, and institutional investors may step into the market as a result.

Cryptocurrencies are on their way towards mainstream adoption, and BitFlyer’s expansion of trade options will assist in facilitating this mass adoption.
