A change in plans
The creator of SV, which stands for Satoshi Vision, Craig Wright, has been starting a lot of problems online, it seems. According to Coindesk, the creator has been after hodlonaut, a Twitter user, trying to reveal their identity. This was after hodlonaut went after Wright, calling him out for claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto. If this were to continue, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao claimed he would delist the BSV token. Guess what? It did.
In the exchange’s announcement, the Binance team described which factors affect the delisting of an asset:
- Commitment of team to project
- Level and quality of development activity
- Network / smart contract stability
- Level of public communication
- Responsiveness to our periodic due diligence requests
- Evidence of unethical / fraudulent conduct
- Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem
Due to Wright’s activity lately, he seems to be violating a few of these. Overall, the criteria are in place to ensure all investments are worthy, or at least, as fit as they can be in the eyes of Binance.
A long time coming
Wright has spent the past few years claiming that he is Satoshi, though nobody seems to believe him. It seems the man is a bit delusional, really, with Zhao feeling so more than anyone.
“Craig Wright is a fraud,” claims the CEO on Twitter. He continues:
“The real Satoshi can digitally sign any message to prove it. This is as simple as breathing for him/her. And we have the pub key. Until then, everyone is Satoshi, except Craig Wright!”
