Despite the non-fungible token market recently making a little slumber, scammers show no signs of slowing down conducting attacks on crypto investors. In yet another exploit, popular on-chain sleuth ZachXBT has unmasked another remorseless crypto scammer responsible for stealing thousands of dollars in digital assets using sophisticated phishing attacks.
Tmas.eth Accused of Promoting Scam
In a July 21 blog post, cryptocurrency investigator ZachXBT shared intact evidence alleging that an NFT influencer named Tmas.eth has been involving himself in numerous crypto heists amounting to a staggering $100,000 worth of NFTs.
Here we have NFT influencer Tmas once again promoting a scam to his followers resulting in ~$100k stolen
The project ended up taking all of the presale funds and posted a wallet drainer

According to the crypto detective, tmas.eth has recently been promoting scam projects to his followers, which has left most collectors losing their funds. The promoted crypto project ended up taking all of the presale funds and posted a wallet drainer.
It’s not the first time tmas.eth has been accused of promoting crypto scams. Last month, tmas.eth promoted another scam using the same account called SAUDI. Again, the project ended up taking all of the presale funds and posted a wallet drainer, leaving massive number of collectors drained.
A short story of crypto influencer @itstylersays doing zero due diligence on paid promotions with shilling meme coin scams. $SAUDI team added and removed the liquidity within minutes, cashing out $95k (51.5 ETH)

ZachXBT Reveals More Crypto Scams
Reports associating tmas.eth with crypto scam promotion appear a few days after crypto sleuth ZachXBT unmasked another remorseless crypto influencer who turned scammer. Last week, crypto detective ZachXBT accused YouTuber Blue, also known as Jack, of stealing over $1.5 million via crypto scams.

ZachXBT research found Blue responsible for stealing millions of dollars in digital assets using sophisticated phishing attacks. Blue started as a gamer and prank content creator on his YouTube channel in 2020 before involving himself in crypto scams in 2021.
Earlier this week, ZachXBT exposed another crypto and NFT scammer, Soup, aka Dan, who allegedly stole over $1 million through phishing scams. The scammer targeted Decentralized Finance (DeFi) projects like Orbiter Finance and Pika Protocol.

In May, the scammer hacked into the Pika Protocol Discord server and stole $220,000 in cryptocurrency by publishing a malicious link in the announcements channel. Dan acknowledged taking 15% of the fraudsters’ earnings in a private DM.
