XRP Breaks the Barrier Level of $0.55 as It Attains a New High of $0.94 – July 18, 2023

On July 13, XRP reclaimed the $0.47 support level and attained a new high of $0.94 . The bullish trend broke through the overhead barrier level of $0.55. At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $0.73. The current upswing has ended after reaching a high of $0.94. It is now ranging between $0.70 and $0.80.

Following the recent rally on July 13, XRP resumed its bullish trend by breaking through the overhead resistance at $0.55. The bullish momentum has slowed as the crypto asset has reached overbought territory. The crypto retraced over $0.70 and began a range-bound movement.

XRP is trading in a narrow range between $0.70 and $0.80. On the plus side, if buyers break through the resistance of $0.80, XRP will rise to a high of $1.42. However, if the bears breach below the current support, XRP will fall to a low of above $0.55.

Bitcoin (BTC) tickers lost $30,075 in trading volume and were overtaken by XRP (XRP) tokens of $0.75 on the South Korean cryptocurrency market Upbit on the previous day.

Following Ripple’s partial victory over the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in their protracted legal struggle.The XRP/KRW trading pair experienced $2.6 billion in trading volume over the past 24 hours. The buying binge was widespread, not just in South Korea. On July 13, the price of XRP increased by 92%, hitting a new high for the year of $0.91.

As a result of this increase, XRP is now ranked fourth by market capitalization. XRP’s market valuation increased by as much as $21.2 billion in the hours following the court decision, reaching a new annual high of $46.1 billion.

A retraced candle body tested the 50% Fibonacci retracement level on the July 14 uptrend. The retracement suggests that XRP will increase to the level 2.0 Fibonacci extension, or $1.42.
