Bitcoin NFTs Gain Traction Among NFT Projects
Bitcoin NFTs continue gaining massive traction among crypto investors and projects. Magic Eden, one of the largest cross-chain NFT platforms, is leading the hype by launching its Bitcoin marketplace earlier this month.
Last week, Magic Eden launched a new launchpad for Bitcoin NFTs. To kick off its launchpad, Magic Eden teamed up with the Ethereum-based NFT collection Godjira to release its Bitcoin-based (Dead) Jira collection, Genopets, the Solana -based NFT game project, and NFT projects Lazy Lions to launch the new NFT collections.
In the meantime, over 1 million Bitcoin artifacts have been inscribed, generating over $5 million. Bitcoin NFTs came into the spotlight earlier this year after Bitcoin developer Casey Rodarmor fused the Ordinal protocol with NFT tech to launch NFTs.
