It’s been a year since Terra Luna crashed, yet the price of LUNC has spiked in the past week following the major proposal going live. Terra Luna Classic’s (LUNC) price increased significantly by 16.08% as a result of a peculiar spike in trading volume.

The trading volume has increased significantly as whales and investors accumulate LUNC in preparation of the CosmWasm parity upgrade expected for June 14.

A New Proposal is Now Live on Terra

The creation of alliances between LUNA and other Cosmos ecosystems, as well as cross-pollination of users and liquidity between Terra and allied chains, are two objectives of a new proposal that became live on Terra Luna on Friday, June 2.

TFL suggests giving the first 10 Cosmos chains that incorporate the Alliance module and include a LUNA Liquid Staking Derivative (LSD) as an Alliance asset with a positive yield 3% of the LUNA staking rewards. They will whitelist LSDs that represent the native tokens of each ally chain as Alliance assets on Terra.

Warp Protocol will be used to dynamically determine each LSD’s reward based on the yield provided to LUNA LSD Alliance stakers. If approved, TFL will create a protocol for a smart contract that creates a virtual staking token that may be included as a Terra Alliance asset (via a future governance proposal) and which will represent the total amount of LUNA staking incentives for the first ten qualifying chains.

Users will be able to stake and claim LUNA rewards using international LSDs due to the new protocol, which will also dynamically calculate reward allocation for each chain by bringing in LUNA LSD yield data from allied chains. Here is an illustration of how it would operate, presuming a Whale LSD staker and a RewardWeight of 3% allocated to the first ten eligible chains.

The Terra governance can vote to make Alliance assets eligible for emissions as new Alliances are created. The protocol can recalculate emissions and reroute them away from the assets of an associated chain if it stops compensating LUNA Alliance stakers.

This signaling proposal tries to determine how the community feels about the previously listed concepts. If approved, TFL will start the protocol-development process and provide a future proposal to include VT as an asset of the Alliance.

Alliance intends to inspire a new wave of innovation, user adoption, and cross-chain cooperation by enhancing the economic activity across Cosmos chains through the development of bilateral, mutually advantageous alliances, as detailed in this proposal.

One of the major changes since the Terra Classic community took control of the blockchain during the Terra-LUNA crisis in May of last year is Terra v2.1.0. With this upgrade, Terra Classic will once again be competitive with other blockchains,

including Terra 2.0 and other Cosmos networks, enabling projects and developers to once again construct dApps on top of Terra Classic. Voting on the v2.1.0 upgrade proposal will occur on June 7th, and the upgrade will proceed as scheduled on June 14th.

LUNC Price Prediction

As of today, June 7th, the Terra Classic price is $0.00009836 with a 24-hour trading volume of $145.21 million and market cap of $576.00 million. The LUNC price increased 14.63% in the last 24 hours. Terra Classic reached its highest price on Apr 5, 2022 when it was trading at its all-time high of $119.01

The value of Terra Classic is expected to increase by 1.21% and reach $0.000101 by June 13th, according to the technical analysis. The support levels of $0.00008829, $0.00007823, and $0.00007156, as well as the resistance levels of $0.000105, $0.000112, and $0.000122, are crucial price levels for Terra Classic.

Breaks from certain levels in price could signal further volatility in the following days. The current sentiment for LUNC is bearish.
