Square Cash, the cryptocurrency payments company started by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, is now ensuring its employees can work from home. This, of course, is due to the coronavirus pandemic preventing people from traveling or going outside. However, the difference with Square is that this change is permanent. Even after the pandemic ends, employees can choose to keep working from home should they so please, The Verge reports.
Speaking on the matter is a company spokesperson the publication, stating:
“We want employees to be able to work where they feel most creative and productive. Moving forward, Squares will be able to work from home permanently, even once offices begin to reopen. Over the past several weeks, we’ve learned a lot about what it takes for people to effectively perform roles outside of an office, and we will continue to learn as we go.”
As InsideBitcoins has previously reported on, Square has recently revealed that users on its Cash App platform can now start recurring purchases with Bitcoin. Users can make this weekly, bi-weekly, and daily. Of course, the minimum purchase is $10.
