Shiba Inu And Paramount Pictures, A Potential Partnership Ahead?
The Shiba Inu community received an exciting announcement from Marcie Jastrow, the Shiba Inu Metaverse’s advisor, during the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas.
According to Scorcia, a popular SHIB community member, Jastrow confirmed that the SHIB Metaverse team met with Ted Schilowitz, the futurist at American film production company Paramount Pictures, to explore possible collaboration opportunities. This comes after the release of new live views of Shiba Inu’s Metaverse at the same event.
After Scorcia’s tweet about the Shiba Inu Metaverse team meeting with Ted Schilowitz from Paramount Pictures, lead developer Shytoshi Kusama also took notice. Scorcia shared a photo of the meeting with Schilowitz, to which Kusama commented, “probably nothing,” a phrase commonly used in the crypto community to ironically downplay potentially important news.
Kusama’s tweet showed his interest and excitement about the potential collaboration with Paramount Pictures, as he included four “big eyes” emojis and relevant hashtags. He also shared a South Park GIF to express that collaboration could be significant. The SHIB community eagerly awaits further developments.
The animated GIF tweeted by Shiba Inu chief developer Kusama has added more credibility to the rumor and sparked further speculation about a possible collaboration between the Shiba Inu Metaverse team and Paramount Pictures. The tweet has garnered much attention from the SHIB community, who eagerly await any updates on this potential partnership.

In the interview with Zach Humphries, Jastrow disclosed that the SHIB: The Metaverse at SXSW Festival was a huge success, with a lot of interest from various brands. She also mentioned her conversation with Paramount’s Schilowitz. She expressed excitement about the potential for collaboration, saying,
“We talked about a lot of different things, and it was a really exciting conversation. It was just the beginning of a conversation, but I think it was productive.”
“We were sitting with the head of futuristics of Paramount Pictures, and I am like we need to do a licensing deal, I got Rocket Pond coming up next, movies are coming up next. We want you to jump directly in there. And they are all in. They are: ‘That’s a great idea.”
Is It Important?
Ted Schilowitz is a leading expert in emerging technologies and currently serves as the Futurist-in-Residence for Paramount Pictures. In this role, he collaborates with Paramount and Viacom’s technology teams to explore and evaluate various emerging technologies, particularly in virtual and augmented reality. Given his expertise, his meeting with the Shiba Inu Metaverse team has fueled speculation of a potential collaboration between the two entities.
Schilowitz’s role as the Futurist-in-Residence for Paramount Pictures involves working with external partners to explore emerging technologies and identify new opportunities. He also advises executives and creatives at Paramount on incorporating these new technologies into their projects.
