Chess Universe, the first free-to-play (F2P) casual chess mobile non-fungible token-based game, is launching exclusively on Immutable zkEVM, a gaming chain built on the Ethereum blockchain ecosystem that allows game developers to introduce customized digital ownership and Web3 mechanics in their games. The Chess Universe is available now in leading gaming market stores, Apple Store, and Google Play.

In a November 20 blog post, Immutable confirmed that the Chess Universe is launching on its Immutable zkEVM blockchain network. While commenting about the new integration, Dusko Pavasovic, the Chief Executive Officer of Chess Universe, noted that “the collaboration marks a major milestone in our journey to redefine how chess is played, enjoyed, and experienced.” The Chess Universe is rated as Apple Arcade’s best board game.

Chess Universe allows players to learn how to play chess, play with friends, with a computer, or enter other competitions.
