The Worldcoin price soared 25% in the last 24 hours to trade at $1.57 as of 3.15 a.m. EST on trading volume that skyrocketed 162% to $1.12 billion.
The WLD coin pump came after the project announced raising $135 million in a private sale from a16z and Bain Capital Crypto. The new funds will accelerate the scaling of the real human network, according to the project’s announcement.
