The FLOKI price surged 17% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.0001708 as of 4.50 a.m. EST on trading volume that soared 113% to $397.9 million.
FLOKI surged along with the rest of the meme coin market as investor sentiment turns bullish. The overall meme coin sector also soared 17% to reach a market capitalization of $55.2 billion.
Still, there have been a flurry of announcement from FLOKI. It posted on X that it is providing users with the opportunity to test its backup trading bot, and earn from a pool of $10,000 along the way. The backup trading bots will be there to replace the main Floki Trading Bot whenever it experiences slowdowns due to heavy traffic.
The event during which participants will be able to help out with the testing will take place on September 30, between 2:00 pm and 2:02 pm UTC. This will essentially be a stress testing campaign, and it will be the first one for the bots, codenamed Vanguard.

Apart from that, it was also announced recently that Floki’s Valhalla has teamed up with eSports giant Alliance to bring Web3 gaming to a broader audience, which likely also contributed to the project’s price surge.

FLOKI Price Prediction
While FLOKI’s price surge took the meme coin to the highest point in the past two months, FLOKI has seemingly lost its momentum. As of the time of writing, its price has already slipped from the resistance at $0.00017, and will likely seek out a support at $0.000160 in hours to come.
The project’s Bollinger bands are starting to narrow, and the price, which previously pushed the upper band, is not spiraling toward the middle point between the two lines. Compared to the wider bands and the price sticking to the upper band seen over the last few hours, this is a clear bearish sign.
The project’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) value is also suggesting an upcoming price drop. The RSI climbed deeply into the overbought area a few hours ago, reaching the value of 86.68. Since then, however, it has dropped to 65.01, and it will continue to spiral down as traders continue to sell the token in order to take profit.
At some point, the trend will change and traders will move in to buy the dip again, creating demand and pushing FLOKI’s price back up, which is often the case during particularly volatile times, when crypto assets see massive price surges and drops.
For the time being, however, the bearish wave is likely to influence the token’s price in the next few hours, or possibly throughout the weekend
