Ethereum Hovers Above Crucial Demand Region: Is $2,500 Attainable?

Ethereum (ETH), the pioneer altcoin, experienced a decline below $2,200 on December 13 but stayed above $2,000, occupying a crucial demand zone. This price action followed a week of persistent upswings fueled by a market-wide resurgence. Notwithstanding, pundits have echoed bullish Ethereum (ETH) sentiments, with some forecasting $3,000 in the interim.

Ethereum’s dip coincides with a temporary selloff across the crypto market, which experts ruled as a de-risking measure investors took as they anticipate the release of November’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) data by the US Federal Reserve.

The information the data provides will determine the bank’s decision on interest rates. In the meantime, some crypto analysts have voiced their predictions of Ethereum (ETH), highlighting a potential attainable price range.

One such analyst is a renowned voice in the industry, CryptoJelleNL, who posited that Ethereum (ETH) will stage a comeback soon, with $3,000 seeming an ideal stop. AltcoinSherpa shared a similar sentiment, stating that ETH ending a consolidation phase beneath $2,000 will fuel future price upticks.

Also, new data from market intelligence IntoTheBlock showed that bulls have recently accumulated 40 million ETH, stored across 5.58 million wallets.

As the chart shows, Ethereum (ETH) fell from $2,352 on December 11 to $2,144 on December 13, indicating an 8.8% drop. Exchanging hands at $2,237, a surge to $3,000 will see ETH rise 34.1%. This outlook presents an opportunity to purchase ETH cheaper before its expected price increase.
