The Dogecoin price surged 8.4% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.1656 as of 8.30 p.m. EST on trading volume that climbed almost 9% to $3.15 billion.

The Dogecoin price is experiencing a correction confined within two converging trendlines. This suggests the formation of a pennant pattern. Such a chart pattern typically occurs within a strong uptrend and indicates periodic pullbacks where buyers can gather momentum again.
With a gain of 11.6% within the day, the price of Dogecoin is poised to test the upper trendline of the pennant pattern. If it breaks out above this trendline, it could signal a continuation of the recovery as the bulls continue the uptrend, driving the price to a new high in the upcoming weeks.
The price bulls have also pushed the price above the 50-day and 200-day Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), which currently support the price at $0.01213.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicates an uptrend toward the overbought region of 70, indicating intense buying pressure for the Dogecoin price.
Dogecoin Price Buyers Target $0.26
The Dogecoin price bulls aim to push the price higher, with support from the SMAs and the RSI. An increased momentum should see the price breach above the pennant as the bulls aim to drive the price to a new high of $0.26 in the upcoming weeks.
Conversely, if the upper trendline of the pennant remains resilient, bears could initiate a price correction, forcing the bulls to retreat to the $0.1265 support zone coinciding with the pennant’s lower boundary.
