Coinbase And Ledger To Simplify Crypto Purchases
In a blog post, Ledger said the previous process of sending crypto from Coinbase to Ledger Live was “cumbersome” and left users “vulnerable to potential errors.”
Ledger users buying crypto through their Coinbase account will not be subject to any additional fee.
The launch of this feature ensures Ledger users with Coinbase accounts will have no longer have a need for off-platform transactions. The reduced risk of errors will also make transactions more secure.
The Chief Experience Officer at Ledger, Ian Rogers, noted that Coinbase and Ledger were among the veterans in the crypto industry. As such, they were committed to making crypto easy to use while promoting security.
“Ledger is proud to give this experience to Coinbase customers and option to Ledger users through this partnership,” he said.
Ledger also added that the collaboration comes at a critical time following the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US, bringing new investors to the crypto industry looking for an easy way to access offerings.
