A CryptoPunk #7804 NFT Sells For Over $16M
Data recorded by CryptoSlam.io, an on-chain crypto market tracker, indicates that CryptoPunks #7804 sold for $16,382,444 just a few hours ago. The cryptopunk mega sale and other NFT collections have pushed the global non-fungible token market trading sales volume up 53% to $56 million in the past 24 hours.
Launched in 2017, CryptoPunks is a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited supply of 10,000 pixilated NFTs hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network. The CryptoPunks NFT collection was previously created by the digital asset incubation studio Larva Labs.
In October 2021, Yuga Labs, the creators of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs, acquired the intellectual property rights to Larva Labs’ CryptoPunks and Meebits NFT collections.
