Bitcoin 2024 is drawing closer and the crypto community is rife with speculation over what former US President Donald Trump will announce at the conference now that Joe Biden has exited the race to become president.

Biden’s exit pits Trump against a potentially stronger Democratic candidate in Vice President Kamala Harris in the race to become president, and thus ups the stakes for the Republican candidate.

Trump will be the biggest name to speak at the conference, which will be held in Nashville, Tennesse, from July 25 to 27.

Donald Trump To Make Major Bitcoin Announcement?

The Trump presidential campaign is back to the drawing board after Biden announced on July 21 that he would not seek re-election.

The annual Bitcoin conference has previously been used to make historic announcements. For instance, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele announced plans to adopt BTC as legal tender at a similar event in 2021.

Will Trump follow suit on July 27, when he speaks? Last week, Satoshi Action Fund CEO Dennis Porter ignited rumors that Trump would announce a US Bitcoin strategic reserve at the Bitcoin conference.

Trump has turned pro-crypto during campaigning to become president, allowing crypto donations to his campaign and promising to be the ”crypto president” if he is elected.

With Biden out of the race, will Trump move to fortify his position in election polls by announcing a significant role for Bitcoin in the US financial industry?

Such an announcement could trigger a parabolic rally for Bitcoin, which has surged more than 7% in the past week.

Will Elon Musk Join Donald Trump At Bitcoin 2024?

The crypto community is abuzz with anticipation over the possibility that there may be a surprise appearance by Tesla CEO Elon Musk at Bitcoin 2024.

While that’s not confirmed, Musk is currently in Memphis, Tennessee, where training for the Grok AI chatbot, developed by one of his companies, xAI, is taking place.

Musk also recently changed his X profile to feature laser eyes. Laser eyes are a popular symbol within the Bitcoin ecosystem used by renowned Bitcoin bulls like MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor.

The Head of Digital Assets Research at VanEck, Matthew Sigel, fuelled the excitement, saying that Musk had changed his profile picture to laser eyes shortly after Trump praised him at a rally on Saturday.
