Amsterdam will turn into a week-long hub for institutional crypto and digital assets this June, with the eighth edition of Dutch Blockchain Week pulling together exchanges, banks, regulators, and infrastructure providers from across Europe and beyond.
The event runs from June 22 to 28, 2026, with the largest event being the DBS Summit on June 24 and 25 inside the Johan Cruijff ArenA, the same stadium that hosts Ajax matches and concerts.
Organizers say the event is primarily a B2B operation, with professionals and regulators mapping out the next phase of blockchain.
Sponsors have come together quickly, with Bitvavo as the main Partner and neobank bunq joining for the first time as a Diamond Sponsor.
The Platinum tier includes ZeroHash Europe, Visa, Kraken, OKX, and Bybit EU, and Gold sponsors include Mastercard, Worldpay, Talos, BLOX, Deloitte, WatsonLaw, Coinmerce, and Fireblocks, covering a wide swathe of crypto, including custody, trading exchanges, legal structure, advisory work, and platforms that have been active in the Dutch market for years. More names are expected to arrive in the coming months.
Dutch Blockchain Week did not start this big, but began as a grassroots effort in 2019 before scaling into a fixture that regularly draws thousands of professionals. The Netherlands is a jurisdiction that licenses crypto businesses under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, which entered into force in late 2024.

The program spreads beyond the ArenA with more than 40 side events booked across Amsterdam. Attendees can expect sessions on tokenizing real-world assets, resolving post-MiCA compliance issues, building payment rails that scale, and hardening custody setups that institutions can trust.
bunq’s debut sponsorship adds a consumer-facing angle that the industry has been chasing. The Dutch bank already lets users trade crypto, stake assets, and set up round-ups directly in its app, all while remaining under full banking supervision. Bitvavo, meanwhile, brings volume and euro liquidity that European traders rely on daily.
Thousands of professionals are expected, including decision-makers who sign off on partnerships and product roadmaps. The side events will also give them targeted rooms to explore specific topics while the main summit delivers the big-stage panels and keynotes.
Early-bird tickets are open now through the official site, and attendees can gain summit access at discounted rates before prices rise closer to June.
