Basic Attention Token (BAT) shows gains on CoinMarketCap while on DexTools it’s listed as one of the biggest losers. How’s that possible?

On the popular platform CoinMarketCap, BAT showed a daily increase of 1.83%. This came with gains of 1.92% in Market Capitalization and a significant 14% increase in trading volume over the past 24 hours.

However, on another platform called DEXTools, BAT was listed as one of the top losers. It recorded a substantial decline of 75% within the same 24-hour period.

What added to the confusion was that on July 10, the price chart on DEXTools showed a daily price of $3 for BAT/USD.

However, when looking at other charts, such as the 4-hour and 12-hour charts, the price surge only reached $0.2308. Additionally, all the candles representing the surge had long wicks, which is unusual. At first, it seemed like there was an error on the price chart of DEXTools.
