The Plan Foundation just announced a new map on Twitter that shows the hundreds of businesses throughout the city that accept Bitcoin. The tweet stated, “Now you may live in Lugano solely using Bitcoin!” Discover everything you require to enjoy your visit in Lugano by using the map of all Plan businesses in Lugano.

With hundreds of businesses in Lugano, Switzerland that take Bitcoin, it is possible to live on the Bitcoin standard

Plan is a city project created in partnership with Tether to draw riches, intelligent people, and possibilities. This proposal included the de facto legalization of bitcoin in Lugano, which was announced in March 2022.

Then, in July 2022, the Plan Summer School was revealed as a learning opportunity for people interested in learning more about bitcoin and enterprises. The school hosted knowledgeable speakers, such as Blockstream CEO Adam Back.

Most recently, McDonald’s and a number of art galleries joined the list of establishments accepting bitcoin thanks to a partnership between the Plan foundation and GoCrypto. By the end of the year, the organization anticipated serving over 2,500 customers using bitcoin.

Various governments will continue to compete for the business of Bitcoiners and Bitcoin enterprises as the bitcoin ecosystem expands. Examples of this include Lugano, Madeira, Bitcoin Beach, and a number of other locations. Although bitcoin is still in its infancy, initiatives like these act as a testing ground as well as a means of promoting wider usage and advancements.
