Solana-Based NFT Collection DeGods Unleashes Its First NFT Collection On Bitcoin

Bitcoin Ordinals continue gaining mainstream adoption across various non-fungible token projects. DeGods, a project renowned for its Solana-based digital collectibles, is the latest to join the Bitcoin Ordinal hype. It has launched its first-of-a-kind NFT collection on the Bitcoin blockchain.

DeGods Launches First-Of-A-Kind NFTs

In a March 16 blog post, DeGods confirmed plans to launch a new NFT collection on the Bitcoin blockchain. DeGods Bitcoin NFT collection will feature a limited edition of 535 digital collectibles. Commenting about new NFTs, Frank Rohun, the founder of DeGods, remarked:

“Bitcoin is the best brand in crypto—just as pristine as it gets. It’s the most well-known and truly as simple but powerful as it can get. It’s like global sound money. That is so powerful. Aligning ourselves with the best brand in crypto is a no-brainer at any given point in time.”

This week, we will be launching a first-of-its-kind minting experience on Bitcoin.

The DeGods team will first mint 500 DeGods. Then, one day later, it will auction the remaining 34 Bitcoin NFTs using the $DUST token. The team behind development will mint the new ordinal NFTs on a first-come, first-serve basis.

DeGods requires NFT collectors to have an Ordinal wallet and a self-custody Bitcoin wallet with atleast 0.444 BTC. It’s speculated that the floor price for the DeGods Ordinals will be around 0.444 BTC.

Use Cases Of DeGods Bitcoin NFTs

DeGods has already launched its NFT “The Original Frank” auction, bidding at around 44,252 $DUST or $80,096. The new collection is available for DeGods and DeadGods NFT Collection holders.

According to the DeGods team, holders of the newly launched Bitcoin NFTs can use their NFTs to participate in raffles and other events in the DeGods community. All proceeds of the DeGods Bitcoin NFTs will be donated to the DustDAO.
