Shiba Inu Lead Shytoshi Kusama To Step Down

The Shiba Inu cryptocurrency project’s pseudonymous leader, Shytoshi Kusama, has made it known that he intends to leave his position once important components of the ecosystem are fully functional.

During a recent conversation on Telegram, Kusama mentioned that once Shibarium’s development is complete and multi-token governance is implemented, he intends to step down from his position. According to Kusama, he would have finished his duties at that moment, and it would be up to the community to decide how to use the system and what to do next.

Since the beginning of 2021, Kusama has played a crucial role in the Shiba Inu ecosystem while operating under a pseudonym.

Shytoshi’s active participation on social media sites like Twitter and Medium has helped him build a sizable audience, with over 917,000 followers on his Twitter account. Over time, Kusama has faithfully carried out Ryoshi’s plan for the project.

In what appears to be the “first chapter of a goodbye note,” Kusama recently published a blog post detailing a number of objectives that the Shiba Inu team is currently working towards.

Some of these efforts include achieving multi-token governance, completing all “Ryoshi checklist items,” and pursuing diverse projects such as the Shiba Eternity Game and the blockchain platform Shibarium.

Shiba Inu’s New Partnership

Shytoshi Kusama, the chief creator of Shiba Inu and a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency world, revealed information about several significant improvements made to the SHIB ecosystem.

The lead developer also noted a new partnership with Champion Apparel to produce SHIB-related apparel and with Hewlett Packard which printed the first batch of Shibacal, Shib themed, NFC Authentication Tags – exclusive SHIB collectibles that enable SHIB enthusiasts to recognize one another. Moreover, sweatshirts with SHIB themes have been made available for preorder, and a significant number of individuals have already placed their orders.

Additionally, Kusama also mentioned the upcoming publication of the “World Paper,” which seeks to educate the public about Shibarium and the broader Shiba Inu ecosystem. This document will contain information about the various tokens, platforms, products, and other relevant aspects of the ecosystem, with the aim of reaching as many people as possible.

Shiba Inu Partners Champion Apparel

Champion Apparels and Shiba Inu have teamed up to produce SHIB-themed products. The Shibacals team is responsible for the initiative. Notably, the effort will see the first application of NFC chips and authentication tags to the authentication of this product.

On a rather positive note, Members of the Shiba Inu community are excited, as the community had earlier pushed the American sportswear manufacturer to create hoodies with SHIB designs. Last year, the leading Shiba Inu influencer “SHIB_Head” launched the campaign, and other Shiba Inu enthusiasts were quick to implore Champion to create apparel with SHIB-themed graphics.
