Former FTX chief operating officer Zhe Constance Wang has reappeared in a new role as head of Sino Global Capital’s gaming team, Bloomberg News reported.

Wang’s career at FTX saw her serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FTX and co-Chief Executive Officer of FTX Digital Markets, the bankrupt crypto exchange’s Bahamas affiliate.

Her responsibilities included spearheading the exchange’s global business expansion, overseeing token listings, and managing public relations and marketing, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Prior to joining FTX, Wang had a brief role as a business development manager at Huobi Global, a crypto exchange based in Singapore, and also worked for two years as an analyst at Credit Suisse, according to her LinkedIn profile.

FTX Fund Included Sino Global Role

After FTX’s collapse, Sino Global Capital, a venture capital firm established in 2015, disclosed an early investment in FTX, Bloomberg reported. FTX had earlier launched a $200 million fund with FTX playing a significant role, the story said.

During FTX bankruptcy proceedings in January, the court-appointed management team responsible for overseeing the case took steps to request permission to subpoena Wang and other former executives of the company, Bloomberg reported.
