Binance US, the US subsidiary of the exchange giant Binance, has launched an innovative feature targeting Shiba Inu holders and other cryptocurrency investors. The platform has launched a unique Crypto Box that supports many cryptocurrencies, including canine-themed meme coins.
Binance US launches free gifting service for Shiba Inu
The newly launched Crypto Box for Binance US users will support some of the largest meme coins by market cap, such as Shiba Inu, Floki Inu, and Dogecoin. The users who use the feature will not incur any transaction fees.
The launch of this Crypto Box will allow Binance US to cater to the rapidly growing meme coin community. Meme coins started to become popular with the launch of Dogecoin several years ago. The launch has inspired the creation of other meme coins, such as SHIB and FLOKI, which have evolved to provide utility to the holders.

Binance has made several efforts to support the growth of the meme coin community. The exchange recently launched a dollar-cost averaging (DCA) averaging feature for SHIB that allowed investors to buy the second-largest meme coin at a predetermined schedule based on their preference.
Binance is not the only platform showing support for meme coins. LunarCrush also announced support for Shiba Inu on the platform. The development will support LunarCrush users and allow them to swap SHIB easily with the more than 1,400 other cryptocurrencies supported on the platform.
Shiba Inu is also gaining a use case in the gaming industry. Nuxgame, one of the leading iGaming software providers, has announced a partnership deal with CoinPayments to accept SHIB payments. This acceptance has promoted the utility of the meme coin as a medium of exchange.
The Bybit exchange also unveiled a giveaway campaign for the SHIB meme coin. The campaign rewards users for trading SHIB on the exchange. The exchange has created a $02K USDT prize pool for this initiative.

“The Memes Carnival is here! Simply trade DOGE, PEPE, SHIB, LADYS, FLOKI, and more memecoins to earn your share of the 20,000 USDT Prize Pool! From now till May 18, 2023,” the exchange said.
SHIB appears not to have reacted to the positive news surrounding the meme coin. In the last 24 hours, SHIB has dropped by 1.7%, trading at $0.00000869 at the time of writing, according to data from CoinGecko.
Meme coin trading frenzy
Meme coins have been making headlines over the past few days. The frenzy was ignited by the Pepe the Frog meme coin launch that surged by over 6,000% barely a few weeks after launch. The token was quickly listed by some of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, such as Binance, KuCoin, and Crypto.com.
Besides PEPE, the other meme coin that has made a massive uptrend in recent weeks is the Milady meme coin. The meme coin gained over 10,000% in under 24 hours after Twitter’s owner, Elon Musk, posted a meme featuring the Milady non-fungible token (NFT).
