Magic Eden, one of the biggest multi-chain NFT marketplaces and Launchpads in the Solana ecosystem, has partnered with APhone, a device-agnostic web-based virtual phone app that redefines the web3 mobile experience, to expand the DePIN experience in the Solana NFT ecosystem and beyond.

In a May 7, 2024, blog post, Magic Eden, the NFT marketplace, confirmed partnering with APhone to bring the DePIN experience to the Solana network and wider NFT communities. The joint team has also launched a non-fungible token collection to harness this crypto initiative.

By description, Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) is a peer-to-peer (P2P) network bridging physical infrastructure with blockchain technology to build and operate decentralized systems. According to CoinGecko, the DePIN landscape has a market cap of over $32 billion.
