The XRP price slid 2% in the last 24 hours to trade at $3.41 as of 7:58 a.m. EST on a 12% surge in daily trading volume to $2.8 billion.
This comes even as US President Donald Trump signed the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act (GENIUS) into law, giving the crypto a major regulatory win.
The GENIUS Act will establish a federal regulatory framework for stablecoins, marking the first significant crypto-related legislation to be signed into law.
Trump called the signing a “massive validation” for the crypto industry, with the crypto community buzzing, including Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.

The bill, along with two other pieces of landmark crypto legislation, could provide some much-needed clarity to the digital asset industry, paving the way for further cryptocurrency innovation and adoption.

XRP Price Analysis: Explosive Breakout From Falling Channel Sparks Rally
The XRP price has broken out of a falling channel pattern, marking the end of a prolonged downtrend that had lasted several months.
This breakout, fueled by a rounded cup-like base, led to a near-vertical move that took the Ripple token price from under $2.50 to a peak near $3.65, a new all-time high (ATH), before slightly pulling back to around $3.42.
The breakout above the upper channel resistance and both the 50-day ($2.33) and 200-day ($2.39) Simple Moving Averages (SMAs) confirm a strong bullish reversal.
Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 84.02, signaling extreme overbought conditions. While this often precedes a cooling-off period, it also confirms powerful bullish momentum behind the move.
With trend and momentum aligned, the price of XRP appears poised to challenge the $3.80–$4.00 zone in the near term, a new ATH.

On the other hand, a drop resulting from the oversold RSI could drive the price of the Ripple token to find support around the previous resistance-turned-support level at $2.56.
Meanwhile, investors are piling into a new meme coin called TOKEN6900 (T6900). 99Bitcoins, a popular YouTube channel with over 723k subscribers, says it could surge 100X after launch.

While other crypto projects are busy crafting intricate whitepapers about how they plan to revolutionize DeFi, TOKEN6900 says, “We’re a meme coin; deal with it.”
