The Hyperliquid price pumped 12% in the last 24 hours to trade at $39.07 as of 4:17 a.m. EST, with trading volume soaring 150% to $374 million.
Hyperliquid Price Poised For More Gains
The HYPE price action has shown a strong bullish trend over the past several months.
From early April 2025, the Hyperliquid price has steadily climbed within a rising channel pattern, demonstrating consistently higher highs and higher lows.
After breaking out of a key accumulation range around the $21–$27 zone, HYPE surged and maintained its position above the 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA), indicating a confirmed trend reversal from the previous downtrend.
Furthermore, the Hyperliquid price has recently re-entered a resistance zone between $35 and $38, an area that previously acted as a supply zone during December 2024.
The current price, around $39.07, suggests a fresh attempt to breach this overhead resistance, supported by strong momentum.
Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) (14) stands at 68.42, nearing the overbought threshold of 70. While not yet in extreme territory, it indicates growing bullish strength.
According to the HYPE price analysis, there is a likelihood that the asset will break above the $40 resistance zone. A daily close above this key level could open the door to further upside, with potential price targets in the $45–$48 range, aligning with the upper boundary of the rising channel.
However, if the price of Hyperliquid fails to breach $40, a short-term rejection could lead to a retracement toward the midline of the channel at $34. Further downward pressure could result in the price of HYPE dropping to the 50-day SMA at $27.50.
