Real Smurf Cat (шайлушай) is a reasonably young cryptocurrency that saw quite a bit of price volatility over the last week.

The token initially saw a strong surge about a week ago, with its price climbing from $0.0000000142 on September 15 to $0.000000078 on September 16.

Unfortunately, the resistance at $0.000000080 prevented it from heading further up, even rejecting it toward $0.00000005 at the end of September 16.

This support managed to hold for about a day and a half after шайлушай initially reached it, even allowing it to bounce back up toward $0.000000070 on September 18.

The support broke later that same day, and the token sank to under $0.00000004. This level then started acting as a resistance, which шайлушай managed to breach later on September 19.

After that, its price started spiraling down, reaching $0.0000000142. This is where its price sits at the time of writing, which translates to around 0.00002241 WETH, according to data from DEXTools.

Can шайлушай recover?

In the past 24 hours, the token’s trading volume was nearly cut in half, going down by 42%, which puts it at around $2.96 million.

Given the token’s rapid price drop and the fact that September — historically the worst month for crypto prices — is nearing its end, however, the predictions for шайлушай’s short-term future are optimistic.

DEXTools data shows that шайлушай/WETH is the 3rd hottest pair on the platform. Furthermore, the recent rapid price drop the token has seen has likely left it undervalued.

As a result, traders will likely start buying soon to profit from a price recovery that is expected to follow.

As mentioned, September and Q3 2023 are about to end, and the industry will enter Q4, which is, historically, much better for the price action of cryptocurrencies.

Another interesting detail regarding this Russian language mme coin is that it recently became a hit on TikTok.

Whether it centers on Smurf-like blue elf creatures with a cat’s face and a mushroom head or because it is new, the token has seen many mentions on the popular video platform.

On top of that, it is a meme coin, and meme-based cryptos have historically performed exceptionally well, especially during the recent crypto winter. At least, they performed well compared to the rest of the industry.
