Non-fungible token marketplace OpenSea has successfully reclaimed its market dominance just a few days after launching a new NFT market aggregator tool, OpenSea Pro. The popular NFT market platform lost its market dominance to the Blur NFT market platform earlier this year.

Based on a short market analysis, the number of new and daily users on the OpenSea marketplace has significantly surged in the past few days. These figures began soaring last week, just a few hours after OpenSea launched its highly anticipated NFT feature, OpenSea Pro.

OpenSea Launches New NFT Feature ‘OpenSea Pro’

On Friday, the leading NFT marketplace launched its OpenSea Pro as part of its strategic plan to regain its market title as the world’s most traded NFT marketplace, which it had lost to Blur NFT marketplace in February 2023.

The new feature allows users to browse listings from more than 170 marketplaces, including OpenSea. The new OpenSea Pro also equips users with aggregated cross-market data and a suite of tools. It also helps collectors and traders optimize how they buy and sell NFTs.

The new OpenSea NFT aggregator feature has attracted massive traction among the crypto and NFT community, pushing the number of daily active users and new crypto wallets created to spike over the past few days.

According to Dune Analytics, the NFT market share of OpenSea has surged by over 54%, while the number of users on Blur NFT marketplace has declined to 27%. Over the same time, the number of daily users surged from 18% on Friday to 57% on Monday.

Blur And OpenSea NFT Contest Continues

OpenSea has launched a non-fungible token, “Gamesis,” to celebrate the launching of its new OpenSea Pro. The new NFT collection allows early adopters to claim a free Gamesis NFT collection between April 4, 2023, and May 4.

The NFT marketplace has hinted at offering more community rewards, including NFT airdrops, to attract and retain its newly fetched users. Earlier this year, its NFT market rival Blur used the same promotional tactic to dethrone OpenSea. The NFT contest is more likely to continue.
