Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson saw reasons to defend himself against accusations that he used other people’s money.

Hoskinson attracted the attention when he shared snapshots of an expedition, he embarked on to the ocean searching for an interstellar meteor. The interstellar meteor expedition snapshots ignited some reactions from crypto enthusiasts.

While some claimed his activities Cardano and ADA deployment, a critic remarked, with blatant sarcasm saying, that Hoskinson spent money he doesn’t own.

Charles Hoskinson Reacts Defending himself against the accusation.

Notably, Hoskinson shared pictures of his exploration in his Twitter post on June 21.

But a user by Bane wrote, “Hey everybody, check out how I’m spending your money.”

Notably, Hoskinson didn’t approve the comment but responded: “Also, somehow my own money is theirs? What kind of weirdo communist land is this?”

Further in the thread, a user by @CryptoBlade23 responded, defending Hoskinson by saying, Doesn’t look expensive to me. In fact, being outdoors and healthy is more beneficial for @IOHK_Charles to his creativity and drive than sitting behind a desk. Also, you are assuming he doesn’t have his own money…common now. Apply yourself.”

Notably, @CryptoBlade23 answer didn’t calm the discussions as more people weighed in, necessitating a defense from Hoskinson.

As a result, he wrote many posts to explain how Cardano works, noting its decentralized nature. He also mentioned that his company, Input Output Hong Kong, focuses on “software development and protocol implementation.”

Further, he reiterated that the company has nothing to do with market manipulation by saying, “We aren’t here to make the price of ADA go up. That’s not our place or role.”

Notably, a response from CryptoJuncky caught Hoskinson’s attention. The user commented that Hoskinson is “looking for aliens” while Polkadot is building stuff and evolving. “That’s why I’d rather invest in DOT than in ADA,”

While responding to the post, Hoskinson said: “The stupidity of Twitter never ceases to amaze me.”

Hoskinson’s Interests Goes Beyond Cardano Blockchain.

Accusing Charles Hoskinson of using other people’s money or manipulating ADA price to make money implies he relies solely on the crypto. However, the founder was an Ethereum co-founder, Mathematician, and a billionaire, in his capacity.

Notably, he had left the Ethereum team to create Cardano plus the blockchain and software development company, IOHK. Also, besides the crypto and software dealing, Hoskinson owns a restaurant and “an anti-aging hospital that support ADA for payments.

The recent expedition was a search for an interstellar meteor. He tweeted about it on June 17 in a comment about an article about Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb’s hunt for the interstellar object.

While commenting, Hoskinson wrote: “Wire and some aluminum. Plenty of grounds to cover, and we haven’t even broken out the sluice sled yet.”
