NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr is celebrating a new Bitcoin all-time high (ATH) above $123K as he counts the gains from his 2021 decision to take his $4.25 million Los Angeles Rams salary in BTC.
“Sooooo bitcoin is at an ALL TIME high today…safe to say we still happy with our decision,” he wrote in a celebratory post on X yesterday.
Bitcoin soared to a new ATH of $123,091.61 yesterday before pulling back to trade at $116,748.87 as of 4:34 a.m. EST, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
The Bitcoin price has almost doubled since Beckham’s decision to take his salary, including base pay, signing bonus and incentives, in Bitcoin.
