Iranian-American Digital Artist Sabet Drops An NFT Collection On Rarible

Rarible, a digital multi-chain platform that allows crypto collectors and artists to buy, sell, and create non-fungible tokens, has partnered with an Iranian-American digital artist, Ali Sabet, to launch a new non-fungible token collection on the Base blockchain network.

Digital Artist Sabet Drops An NFT Collection on Rarible

In a March 27 blog post, the Rarible NFT Market platform confirmed partnering with an Iranian-American digital artist, Ali Sabet, to launch a non-fungible token collection on the Base blockchain network. This is the first Base-based NFT collection to launch on the Rarible NFT marketplace.

Launched in 2019, Rarible is a multi-chain digital market platform where crypto users can buy, sell, and create non-fungible tokens. Rarible is one of the major NFT marketplaces, pulling Ethereum NFT listings from competitors like OpenSea, LooksRare, X2Y2 and Magic Eden. The NFT marketplace is based on the Rarible Protocol, an open-source multi-chain community-governed NFT Protocol.

The NFT Marketplace came into the spotlight in 2021 during the historic NFT bull run, which left many NFT floor prices reaching new record highs. At the time, Rarible grew a lot and reached more than 2 million active users per month, according to their official Medium.

Since then, Rarible has rapidly grown to become one of the leading NFT market platforms in the NFT ecosystem. By September 2023, the NFT marketplace was integrated with Ethereum, Polygon, Tezos, Immutable X, and Flow. Recently, the NFT marketplace has spread its roots to support Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 chain self, claiming to offer a safe, low-cost, developer-friendly way to build on-chain.

Virtual Cocaine 2024 NFT Collection Overview

Under the new integration, Rarible and Ali Sabet have launched the first-ever non-fungible token collection, duped Virtual Cocaine 2024. The new NFT collection will feature a generative supply lasting for just 24 hours. The Virtual Cocaine 2024 NFT collection, which is powered by the Base Layer 2 blockchain network, has a mint price of 0.0008 ETH. At the time of publishing, 147 NFTs had been minted.
