The Dogecoin price has risen a fraction of a percentage in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.1619 as of 7:32 a.m. EST on a 17% drop in trading volume to $723 million.
The DOGE price increase occurred as President Donald Trump says he “might have to put DOGE on Elon” in response to a question from Fox News on whether he was going to deport Elon Musk.

Dogecoin Price Could Test Pattern Neckline Soon
The daily DOGE/USD chart displays a classic double bottom pattern. The neckline sits around $0.235, and the price is currently trading below it at around $0.1651.
The price action is currently forming the final bottom of the double bottom pattern; a push from here could have Dogecoin testing the neckline by mid-July.
The 50 ($0.19272) and 200 ($0.17461) Simple Moving Averages (SMAs) on the 3-day chart are positioned above the price, signaling bearish momentum. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 41.02 is hovering near oversold territory, suggesting room to run before any overbought pullback.

Meanwhile, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) shows a bearish crossover, with the signal line above the MACD line, a classic bearish momentum signal.
Dogecoin Price Bulls Eye $1
In the short term, DOGE might test the $0.22 neckline if volume spikes. That’s a 43% pump from today’s price. In the long term, DOGE could aim for $0.52 to $1.00 by year-end. The chart’s breakout above the neckline resistance would confirm this bias. Dogecoin volume is thinning, but a news-driven surge could spark a revival.
Of course, it’s not all smooth sailing. The RSI shows a possible consolidation phase before the next leg up.
