The Chainlink price dropped 4% in the last 24 hours to trade at $13.02 as of 4.40 a.m. EST on trading volume that surged 52% to $522.57 million.

Despite the tumble in the LINK Price, the coin received great news as PayPal added both Chainlink and Solana to its digital asset lineup.

Both coins are now available to the company’s US customers as part of its efforts to expand its crypto services and offerings.

Chainlink Price Prediction

Following Chainlink’s price surge after PayPal’s announcement, the market sentiment became strongly bearish, causing a trend reversal and pushing LINK’s price further down. The sharp rise, followed by an even sharper drop, ended up expanding the project’s Bollinger bands quite significantly as activity involving the coin increased.

Since then, however, the price has managed to see a small recovery and find relative stability, causing the bands to tighten again.

The coin’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) value has also seen great fluctuations, signifying increased trading activity. After finding itself deep in the oversold zone at the value of 24 yesterday morning, it surged to the value of 75 as traders started buying and pumping its price.

However, as volatility increased and trend reversal took place, the RSI dropped to 50, only for some traders to pump it to 70 again as they moved in to buy the dip. Once it reached 70 again, a major sell-off started, pushing the RSI value back down, this time once again into the oversold zone.

The metric dropped to the value of 25, which is when traders started buying again, and since then, it has been fluctuating between 50 and 70, showing that trading activity is still strong but also that the market remains bearish and that traders are cautious as they wait for the situation to settle.

Promising Alternative to Chainlink

Even as the Chainlink price drops, the presale for Best Wallet (BEST) has surged past $11.54 million.
