NFT Sales Volume Pumps 70% Today, After Another CryptoPunk Sold For Over $12M

The non-fungible token market has recorded positive growth today after an ultra-rare Alien Punk sold for over $12 million. The gigantic sales have pushed the global non-fungible token market sales volume to rise 70% in the past 24 hours. The Ethereum NFT sales volume has also climbed 278% from the previous day.

CryptoPunk #635 Sells For $12M

Data compiled by CryptoSlam.io, an on-chain NFT market explorer, confirms that a CryptoPunk #635 has sold for 4,000 ETH, valued at $12.41 million just a few hours ago. The CryptoPunk NFT sales, alongside other NFT sales, have pushed Ethereum NFT sales volume to skyrocket 278% to over $27 million in the past 24 hours.

The CryptoPunks NFT #635 is now the third ultra-rare Alien Punk to sell for over $10 million worth of Ethereum in the last two months alone. Earlier last month, an anonymous crypto trader bought Punk #3100 for $16.03 million worth of ETH. Later the same month, Punk #7804 sold for $16.42 million in ETH, emerging as the second-most expensive Punk sold in NFT history.

Fortunately, the recent CryptoPunk mega sale has supposedly attracted the general revival of the Ethereum NFT market, which had lost its initial streak in the past several weeks. 2. Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT Collection

Bored Ape Yacht Club, an NFT collection from the digital asset incubation studio Yuga Labs with a limited trading sales volume of 10,000 NFT hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network, is today’s second-most-selling NFT collection. In the past 24 hours, the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection has amassed a trading sales volume of $4.6 million, up 367% from the previous day.

3. Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT Collection

Mutant Ape Yacht Club, another all-time top-selling NFT collection from the digital asset firm Yuga Labs that features a limited edition of 20,000 NFT hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network, is today’s third most-selling NFT collection. In the past 24 hours, Mutant Ape NFT has recorded a trading sales volume of $1.9 million. The Mutant Ape NFT sales volume has pumped 381% today from the previous day.

4. Pudgy Penguins NFT Collection

Pudgy Penguins, a non-fungible token collection that features a limited edition of 8,888 NFTs hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network, is today’s fourth most-selling NFT collection. In the past 24 hours, Pudgy Penguins NFT collection has amassed a trading sales volume of $1 million. Pudgy Penguins NFT trading sales volume has jumped 464% from the previous day.
