The nascent crypto sector has never fallen short of horrifying, uproarious, and intriguing events, ranging from hacks to investors making life-changing money from their investments. This time around, a mysterious non-fungible token investor has surprised the crypto and NFT community after burning his blue-chip NFTs.

Nd4.eth Burns His Blue-chip NFTs

The mysterious Ethereum whale and investor in question, ‘nd4.eth’ caught the attention of the crypto community earlier last week after he sent over $4.5 million worth of Ether (2,500 ETH) to a ‘burn’ address in a move that removed these tokens from circulation forever.

This shocking event, which occurred on July 26, has led to a burning question on the lips of crypto traders – who is this mysterious whale, and what is the reason for his action? On August 9, the crypto investor struck again, burning a series of his blue chip NFTs.

Who Is NFT Investor nd4.eth?

Even though there is limited information about nd4.eth, some Twitter users have shared some information, helpful in unmasking who the synonymous NFT investor is. The recent discussion reveals that nd4.eth was on Binance Leaderboard, which shows the traders in profit on the platform. The anonymous investor is estimated to have a traceable wealth of over $20 million.

In his latest burn, nd4.eth sent one Bored Ape Yacht Club, 1 Mutant Ape Yacht Club, and 1 Bored Ape Kennel Club NFT collection to a burn wallet. This surprising action means the burned NFT collection will never circulate in the NFT ecosystem.

In the meantime, the motive behind nd4.eth to burn his blue-chip NFT collection is still unknown, with some crypto Twitter community speculating that he might be in depression. A Twitter user that goes as Bugsy suggests that nd4.eth might be having serious stress, probably following his girlfriend cheating on him. The substantive reason for the surprising action is yet known.
