The Bonk price dropped 11% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.00002435 as of 6 a.m. EST on trading volume that plummeted by 20% to $515.8 million.

The popular meme coin saw a considerable price surge after April 20, when the meme coin community celebrated International DOGE Day and the Bitcoin halving.

It’s still up 75% in a week, taking it to its weekly high of $0.00002829. But as the hype passed and a market-wide correction took place, so the token slumped along with the rest of the market.

Bonk Price Prediction

With the BONK price correction in the last 24 hours, meme coin traders have tried to find insight into the token’s short-term future. Many have turned to technical indicators to try and predict what will happen next.

So far, the BONK price has dropped to a support level at $0.000023, only to see a slight recovery. The recovery came as the project’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) value crashed from the overbought zone at $70 to the oversold area at around 30. After that, it spent nearly 12 hours, fluctuating between the oversold and neutral zones, with the value shifting between 30 and 50.

This suggests that traders have been buying the dip, only to sell as soon as the price saw a slight recovery. This finally changed over the last several hours when BONK’s price mirrored its RSI by going up. The RSI climbed past the neutral barrier at 50 to around 56, remaining in the neutral zone but sitting closer to the overbought area this time.

Meanwhile, the token’s Bollinger bands started to widen again, with the price closer to the upper band. Both of these are bullish signals, which suggest that the price might be ready to recover from the losses seen in the last two days.

However, traders should remember that this is a very volatile period and that BONK’s price likely follows the lead of larger players currently dominating the market. As such, BONK could make unexpected moves as it continues trading under the influence of larger cryptos.

With that said, the token’s price has already encountered a resistance level at $0.000025, which seems to have rejected it again. However, if a bullish wave pushes BONK back up, this barrier should not be too difficult to breach. Alternatively, if the selling pressure continues to grow, the BONK price could spiral down to $0.000020, one of its strongest support levels.
